Bespoke ‘Starting Out’ Money Course
This tailored version of the Money Course is aimed at young people aged 18-25 who want to feel more confident with money, stretch it further and make choices that work for them.
‘Starting Out’ equips participants with essential money management skills, through a series of practical, interactive sessions.

‘Starting Out’ is available in two editions - one aimed at university students and one for young workers, including apprentices.

Our trained facilitator(s) will tailor and deliver the course to suit your group’s specific needs, focusing on the following topics:
thinking about your relationship with money
figuring out where your money actually goes
building a budget for day-to-day use
identifying your personal spending priorities
sharing ways to increase income and reduce spending
getting to grips with household bills & expenses
understanding the impact of borrowing and saving
thinking about your future finances
setting savings goals
getting help with debt and scams
setting up our simple Piggy Banking system to separate your spending
considering the link between well-being and money, and knowing where to get help and support with mental health

Access to our Starting Out Catch-Up Materials for 90 days, which contain all the resources from the sessions plus additional materials

8 hours (usually run over four sessions)

£2200 for up to 30 participants (online)
£2500 for up to 20 participants (in person)
