Financial First Aid
This practical, interactive workshop is crammed full of tips and tools to equip you or your team to support and talk to others about money.
The session is aimed at professionals / practitioners who support others as part of their role, providing a wealth of information and training to boost confidence and competence in this area.
The workshop covers the following topics:
Talking about money worries
Money & mental health
Helping people to set up & manage a budget (including when self-employed)
Avoiding & dealing with debt
Income maximisation and money-saving ideas
Support and schemes for those in financial hardship
Awareness of loan sharks and scams
Resources to draw on when supporting people with money worries
A pre-workshop questionnaire enables us to establish participants’ starting points and to tailor the content accordingly.
Please note: participants should have completed the Money Course themselves prior to attending this workshop, either through a bespoke option or by taking part in one of our free courses.
